Welcome to Food Tailor. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the Food Tailor website. By using Food Tailor, placing an order or requesting a quotation, you agree to these Terms.
Food Tailor is a food discovery, ordering and fulfilment platform that helps customers discover, customise and order food from restaurants, caterers, food brands and other food partners ("Food Partners") for events, parties, functions, corporate requirements and bulk orders.
Food Tailor may facilitate: Menu discovery and customisation; Quotations and order coordination; Payment collection; Communication with food partners; Delivery and logistics coordination; and Related fulfilment services.
Food Tailor may act as a facilitator/marketplace and does not necessarily prepare or directly supply the food.
Food may be prepared and supplied by independent Food Partners. The respective Food Partner is responsible for: Food preparation, quality and quantity; Food safety and hygiene; Ingredients and allergen information; Applicable licences and registrations; Packaging and labelling, where applicable; and Fulfilling confirmed menus and quantities.
Food Tailor may review, suspend or remove Food Partners where appropriate. Food Tailor does not guarantee that every Food Partner or menu item will always be available.
Food Tailor expects all Food Partners to comply with applicable food safety laws, including FSSAI requirements. Where required, applicable FSSAI licence/registration information may be displayed on the Platform. Food Tailor may request compliance documents and take appropriate action where required.
Customers may submit an order, enquiry, customised menu or quotation request. Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. An order is confirmed only when Food Tailor and/or the relevant Food Partner confirms it and the required payment is completed.
For bulk/event orders, confirmation may depend on: Food Partner availability; Quantity; Event date and time; Delivery location; Menu requirements; Logistics feasibility; Customisation; and Required payment.
Customers must provide accurate: Name and contact details; Delivery/event address; Event date and delivery time; Guest/quantity requirements; Menu and dietary requirements; and Special instructions. Food Tailor is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect or incomplete information.
The final amount may include: Food charges; Applicable taxes; Packaging; Delivery/logistics; Platform/service/convenience charges; Event-related services; and Other charges communicated before confirmation. Prices and availability may change before confirmation. Confirmed prices generally remain applicable unless the customer requests changes or additional services.
Bulk orders may require advance preparation and procurement. Food Tailor may set deadlines for changes to: Menu; Quantities; Delivery location/time; Guest count; or Other requirements. Late changes may be declined or charged additionally.
If an item becomes unavailable, Food Tailor may: Offer an alternative; Offer another food partner; Modify the affected order; Provide a price adjustment/refund; or Cancel the affected item/order.
Delivery times are generally estimates unless expressly guaranteed. Customers must ensure an authorised person is available to receive the order and provide reasonable access to the location. Food Tailor may not be responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, venue restrictions, road closures, restaurant delays, logistics issues or other circumstances outside its reasonable control. Additional delivery attempts or customer-caused waiting time may incur charges.
Customers or authorised representatives should check the order for: Missing items; Damaged packaging; Incorrect quantities; Incorrect dishes; and Other visible issues. Acceptance generally confirms receipt of the order, without affecting issues that could not reasonably have been identified at delivery.
Customers must report missing, incorrect, damaged or materially defective items as soon as reasonably possible and within the period stated in the Refund Policy. Food Tailor may request photos, videos or other information to investigate. Depending on the issue, Food Tailor may provide: Replacement; Partial/full refund for affected items; Credit; or Another reasonable resolution. Refunds are subject to the Cancellation, Modification & Refund Policy.
Customers must clearly communicate allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements before order confirmation. Food Tailor may communicate these to the Food Partner but does not guarantee an allergen-free environment unless specifically confirmed by the Food Partner. Customers should review allergen information and communicate serious allergies directly to the Food Partner through Food Tailor.
Customers must pay all applicable amounts for confirmed orders. Food Tailor may require: Full payment, advance/deposit or Payment in agreed stages. An order may not be confirmed until the required payment is received.
Bulk/event cancellations and refunds are governed by the Food Tailor Cancellation, Modification & Refund Policy. Terms may vary based on: Order value; Event date; Time before delivery; Customisation; Procurement already completed; Food partner commitments; and Logistics arrangements.
Food Tailor may provide discounts, coupons or other offers. Offers may have eligibility requirements, usage limits and other conditions. Offers may not always be combined. Food Tailor may withdraw offers where permitted. Fraudulent or abusive use may result in cancellation.
The Food Tailor name, logo, website, software, designs and content belong to Food Tailor or its licensors. Food Tailor may restrict or suspend accounts for prohibited conduct.
Food Tailor may use third parties for: Payment processing; Delivery/logistics; Communication; Technology; Hosting; and Other support services. These services may have their own terms and policies.
To the extent permitted by law, Food Tailor's responsibility is limited to services it directly provides as a platform/facilitator. Food Partners are responsible for the food they prepare and supply, while logistics providers are responsible for their direct services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Food Tailor is not responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, government restrictions, strikes, accidents, public emergencies, major transport disruptions, technology failures or other unforeseen events.
Food Tailor may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including for: Fraud; Misuse; Violation of these terms; Unlawful activity; Payment issues; or Conduct that may harm Food Tailor, food partners or customers.
